Skid Steer Wheel Spacers

Skid Steer Wheel Spacers are available from Prowler Manufacturing for nearly every make and model Skid Steer Loader. Wheel Spacers are purchased by our customers for a variety of purposes. Many spacers are purchased with Over The Tire Tracks to outset the wheels from the chassis of the machine. Not all Skidsteers require wheel spacers for OTT Tracks. Although the same machine that may not require spacers for an all steel track system such as the Prowler Predator or the Fusion Steel, it may require spacers for other styles of tracks such as the Prowler Stealth Series and Fusion Rubber Over the Tire Tracks. These Tracks with rubber pads take up more space on top of the tire which means you may need more room than the factory clearance may provide. Another common reason some one may purchase a set of wheel spacers from Prowler would be for equipping their machine with tire chains. Although chains take up less room than an OTT track system, certain models may still require spacers just for the front or the rear. In this situation just two spacers can be purchased. Spacers may also be purchased for overall equipment stability.  Adding a set of 2 inch wheel spacers to your loader will increase the overall width by 4 inches. For instance. If you own a Bobcat s185 the original stance of the machine is 66" inches. Adding wheel spacers will increase this width to 70". Lastly and occasionally there may be a need to space the wheels of a compact tractor. Sometimes for side hill stability while mowing or for high reach heavy lifting. Recently a customer was lifting round bales and nearly tipped the tractor on a very minimal side slope that was barley visible to the eye. The customer then contacted Prowler to see about purchasing wheel spacers for his his tractor. The front axle hub was a standard 6 lug wheel so fitment was no problem. His existing wheel had a small offset so the customer reversed his wheel and also added 2 of the  6 lug wheel spacers. This added a total overall width of 6 inches to the front axle width and increased his overall stability.
